Your First Visit

I can't wait to start helping you live a healthier, pain-free life.

Let's get started...

Brief Paperwork

Making your appointment is step one! It is very important that we have an appropriate amount of time to review your health concerns and any pain problems you may be having. This is why when you make an appointment I set aside that time, just for you. When you arrive for your appointment, I have some brief paperwork for you to fill out. The paperwork provides me with general information about yourself and your condition.

Consultation

We sit down, you and I, and have a conversation. We talk about what brings you to see me, what problems you are experiencing, as well as your healthcare goals.

History and Examination

As a Chiropractor, it is my job to get down to the root of the problem. This means, I need to know your health history and how long you have been experiencing the problems that bring you to see me. Many factors go into your health, so we will talk about sleep, stress, and other issues that may be contributing to your condition. I will perform a series of test that will help me determine the extent of your injuries or condition.

X-ray Studies

Not only do you need to know what your health condition is, you need me to SEE what your health condition is! This may require me to take x-rays to either rule out more serious conditions or assist me in developing the most effective treatment plan for you. I will discuss the need for x-rays with you after your consultation and examination. You may or may not even need them.

Same Day Treatment

Once I'm finished with the consultation, history, examination, and have studied the x-rays, I will, in most cases, treat you immediately. This may include spinal adjustments, physical therapies, and/or soft tissue therapies. I don't want you wait another day in pain when I know how to help you relieve it.

Home Instructions

There are often many things you can do at home to help you relieve the pain and stress of your condition. This may include ice or heat application instructions, avoidance of certain activities or positions, as well as home exercises and/or stretches. I will provide you with the At-Home procedures you can do to help your certain condition, and when you do them as instructed, it makes it easier for me to get you back on the road to wellness and a pain-free life.

Schedule Your Next Appointment

By your next visit, which is usually the next day, I will have reviewed in depth your x-rays and tests and will be ready to discuss with you exactly what Chiropractic can do for you based on these results and how well your body responded to treatment. With Chiropractic care, the patient and the doctor are a healthcare team. When we work together to improve your health, the results are faster, more effective, and last longer.
